Sharing the Gospel among homeless teens and adults

Ministering among homeless teens and adults

"Go for souls,

and go for the most lost..."

That is what the founder of Church Army suggested over a hundred years ago.

Today, StreetHope.org is the continuation of a ministry in Victoria BC, which has been following that advice since 1986.

We love to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but for those who are allergic to Christians, we simply share His love in ways that are meaningful. That can mean providing, food or shelter or just some understanding.

Sound interesting? We hope so.

A Good Fix for Body & Soul

Ultimate High is our outreach to severely drug addicted people in our neighbourhood. Three times a week we invite them to come in for homemade soup with people who are praying they will be freed from the addiction that has trapped them.

“I don’t want to die out here,” one visitor said. “I’ve been wishing I could find some Christian people,” said another. "Ultimate High" is just The Church showing up in a personally significant way to encourage and help people not to give up hope but to trust God in Christ Jesus for everything.
